She’s just the most divine little child.
Kaya is an adventurous and beautiful little girl. Her lean body moves quickly and constantly, never sitting still for a minute. She is always on the go; crawling, monkey walking or cruising on the furniture. She is cheeky and giggles easily. She has a constant and beaming smile on her face, as if she knows a secret to happiness that she is sharing with us all.
When we first found out we thought our life was over, our whole world fell apart. But we know now that really it was the beginning of a new and amazing journey. Kaya isn’t defined by Angelman Syndrome, there is so much more to her and we love her to bits.
She changes people, their perspective on what is important, and brings out the best in them, inspiring them all in the process. She has such a beautiful personality and loves life.
Photographing Kaya was such a joy. Because of her absolute love of water, I decided it would be very appropriate to make it part of her portrait, so we filled the bath and Kaya played, splashed and giggled her way through her photo shoot. I was on a ladder in photographic heaven capturing Kaya’s beautiful face and the sparkling water droplets falling around her.
Kaya’s Super Powers: Kaya is determined, patient, and never complains – a cheer-up ambassador. She embodies extreme happiness . She has an incredible love of water. People are drawn to her and she brings out a vast depth of love in them. She is always excited to see you and is very sociable. Kaya has never had a tantrum in her life, she is too busy being happy! She laughs and cuddles constantly.
